Pal Milkovics
Founder & President

Pal Milkovics is an entrepreneur with more than two decades of experience building, restructuring, and exiting media businesses across Europe. Throughout his career, he has overseen portfolios spanning television networks, national radio stations, and established print publications, with a focus on identifying the underlying value of businesses, repositioning assets, and transforming intellectual property into sustainable, profitable enterprises.
His approach to business is guided by a conviction that enduring commercial value is built on more than financial performance alone. Every successful business has an identity, a purpose, and a story that connects it to the people it serves. Recognising and developing that potential, whether in an established institution or an overlooked asset, has remained central to his work.
Today, he leads Fritz & Albert, a privately held family investment and holding company focused on acquiring, developing, and investing in businesses with distinctive identities and long-term potential. Fritz & Albert combines entrepreneurial ownership with a particular appreciation for European commercial heritage, established brands, and businesses whose potential has yet to be fully realised. His ambition is to build a lasting portfolio of enterprises through patient capital, active stewardship, and a commitment to preserving what makes each business exceptional.
His philosophy is expressed in a single motto: The Defiant Act of Imagination.
This carries two meanings. The first is a belief that imagination, independent thinking, and the willingness to challenge convention are essential to creating lasting value. Fritz & Albert seeks opportunities where others may see limitations, and believes that the most compelling businesses are often those whose possibilities extend beyond their present circumstances.
The second meaning is personal. Fritz and Albert were his cousins, two children whose lives were stolen in the Holocaust in 1942. Their names are a reminder of the potential that was lost and the futures that were never allowed to unfold. In building Fritz & Albert, he seeks to honour their memory through an enduring enterprise founded on the very quality they were denied: the freedom to imagine and shape the future.
