An Entrepreneurial Investment Company
Fritz & Albert is a privately held family investment company managed by Pal Milkovics. Founded in Paris, the company acquires, invests in and develops businesses across Europe. After opening an office in Berlin, it is relocating its headquarters there while maintaining a presence in Paris.
The company's approach draws on Pal's more than two decades of experience building, restructuring and exiting media businesses across Europe. It brings together long-term ownership, entrepreneurial thinking and responsible stewardship, with an emphasis on recognising underlying value and developing each business's potential.
The name has a personal meaning. Fritz and Albert were Pal's cousins, two children whose lives were stolen in the Holocaust in 1942. The company bears their names in remembrance of their lives and the futures they were denied.
The Motto: The Defiant Act of Imagination
Our motto, "The Defiant Act of Imagination," reflects both our approach to investment and the personal meaning behind the company's name:
Independent Thinking
Imagination, independent thinking and the willingness to challenge convention help us recognise possibilities beyond a business's present circumstances. We look for opportunities to develop lasting value through patient investment and practical, active ownership.
A Personal Remembrance
For Pal, Fritz and Albert's names are a reminder of lost potential. Through an enduring enterprise, he seeks to honour their memory and the freedom to imagine and shape the future that they were denied.
Our responsibility is to turn that conviction into thoughtful decisions and lasting businesses.
